In 2019, I was a second semester college freshman near Atlanta, and that same year, the Super Bowl happened to be coming to the ATL as well. While I thought this was a super neat coincidence and knew I would enjoy the experience, I had no intentions of spending that much money on a ticket. Like I said, I was a college freshman. If I had thousands of dollars laying around that I could use on a Super Bowl ticket, I would not have had to take out a loan for school.
However, I did end up getting to go for free, and this is the story of how:
Stone Mountain located in Atlanta, Georgia is a famous (and controversial) mountain with a great view if you can make it to the top. I had always heard it was especially beautiful if you could wake up early enough to make it to the top by sunrise. After hearing about it, I really wanted to try it out. However, I am the complete opposite of a morning person, and it was also difficult to find someone who would agree to do such an early hike on a random day. Therefore, it took me a very long time to finally make the journey.
Recently I went on a trip to New York City with my boyfriend. I was beyond excited as I have been to New York before with my high school and had fallen in love with the city at first sight. However, most people know that New York is not a walk on the beach. It can easily be one of the most chaotic vacations you will ever take. It almost does not feel right to even call it a vacation because I do not think that there is ever a moment where you are truly relaxed. This is honestly one of the reasons I love it so much considering I have never been the type of person that likes to do nothing on vacations. I am probably the worst beach partner ever. However, there are some kinds of chaos that even I try to stay away from.
